This course lasts three days and is designed to develop additional skills starting from those acquired in the Green Coffee Intermediate course. The course prepares the student for managerial roles in the professions related to green coffee.
In particular, we will investigate students' ability to identify the fundamental aspects of coffee botany and a detailed understanding of the different stages of treatment of specialty coffees, with different processes according to the desired result.
The ability to identify the full range of defects and the proper classification in the various export countries will also be assessed.
We will explain how to develop and manage a range of green coffee varieties in terms of volume, cost and time, with reference to price changes in the coffee market and how to understand the criteria that make up the production cost of green coffee and how to apply these criteria for the negotiation.

By passing both the theoretical and practical exam, you can gain 25 training credits useful for the Coffee Diploma of the Coffee Skills Program, plus the SCA certification.
To participate in the Green Coffee Professional exam, you must have passed the Green Coffee Intermediate level.
